Kohima, July 22 (NEx): Nagaland COVID-19 positive cases tally rise to 1087 with fifty seven (57) new cases today, July 22, 2020, updates Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom at 09:51 am.

Taking to twitter Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 513 samples tested, 57 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed.

Among the new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases, 23 cases are in Dimapur, 18 in Kohima, 7 in Zunheboto, 5 in Peren and 2 each in Mon & Mokokchung – updated the Health Minister, today.

With 57 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 1087 today. Among the confirmed cases, 485 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 602. The state has not reported any fatalities due to COVID-19.

Among the 602 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 269 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 109 at Kohima, 91 at Mon, 95 at Peren, 10 at Tuensang, 8 at Phek and 7 at Mokokchung, 3 at Longleng, 8 at Zunheboto and 1 at Wokha district.

Kiphire district in Nagaland is the only COVID-19 free district with zero case till today.
