Nagaland COVID-19 cases tally reach 978, with 22 new cases today, July 18, 2020, informed the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom

Kohima, July 18 (NEx): Nagaland reported 22 new COVID-19 positive cases today, July 18, 2020, taking the total confirmed cases in the State to 978, informed Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom.

Taking to twitter Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 216 samples tested, 22 new COVID-19 positive have been confirmed.

Among the new confirmed COVID-19 positive cases, 11 cases are from Peren, 8 from Dimapur and 3 from Kohima. All cases are from Quarantine centres – informed the Health Minister.

With 22 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 978 today. Among the confirmed cases, 405 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 573. The state has not reported fatalities due to COVID-19.

Among the 573 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 226 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 109 at Kohima, 83 at Mon, 109 at Peren, 28 at Tuensang, 8 at Phek and 5 at Mokokchung, 2 at Longleng, 2 at Zunheboto and 1 at Wokha district.
