Nagaland COVID-19 positive cases count near 900-mark with the confirmation of 51 new positive cases today, July 14, 2020

Kohima, July 14 (NEx): Nagaland COVID-19 positive cases nears 900-mark with the confirmation of 51 new positive cases today, July 14, 2020, taking the total number to 897, as per an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.

The only COVID-19 free district in Nagaland State, Longleng also reported its first COVID-19 positive case today, as two patients tested positive.

Taking to twitter Pangnyu Phom updated of 51 new COVID-19 positive cases, first update was in the morning at 09:50 am of 33 new COVID-19 positive cases and the second at 03:20 pm this afternoon, of 18 more cases.

Among the 51 new COVID-19 positive cases confirmed, 24 cases are from Kohima, 20 from Peren, 3 from Dimapur, 2 from Longleng, 1 each from Zunheboto & Mokokchung – tweeted Pangnyu.

With new 51 cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 896 today. Among the confirmed cases, 340 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 556.

Among the 556 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 162 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 111 at Kohima, 83 at Mon, 154 at Peren, 28 at Tuensang, 8 at Phek and 5 at Mokokchung, 2 at Longleng, 2 at Zunheboto and 1 at Wokha district.
