Kohima, July 18 (NEx): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio tested negative for COVID-19, said a tweet from CM’s official twitter. Currently, Chief Minister is under self Quarantine after his return from Delhi.

On Thursday, Chief Minister appealed all to follow official advisories/guidelines, wear mask, maintain social distancing & observe hygiene.

Nagaland reported 22 new COVID-19 positive cases and 27 recoveries from COVID-19 on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
According to COVID-19 daily bulletin at 03:00 pm today, State COVID-19 positive tally stands at 978. Meanwhile, with 27 more COVID-19 recoveries, total recovery count rises to 432. Active cases in the State now stands at 546, it said.
Among the 546 active cases in Nagaland, 226 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 101 at Kohima, 83 at Mon, 108 at Peren, 10 at Tuensang, 8 at Phek and 5 at Mokokchung, 2 at Longleng, 2 at Zunheboto and 1 at Wokha district, said the COVID-19 bulletin issued by Dr. Kevichusa Medikhru, Mission Director, NHM.
