Kohima, July 23 (NEx): 44 more COVID-19 positive patients recovered in Nagaland, taking the recovery tally to 530, informed COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by Director, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland, Dr. Neikhrielie Khimiao.
Among the 44 patients recovered from COVID-19 in Nagaland, 35 patients are from Peren, 5 from Tuensang, 3 from Kohima and 1 from Mokokchung, informed the COVID-19 bulletin issued at 03:00 pm today.
With new 44 recoveries from COVID-19, the recovery rate in the State has increased to 45%.
Nagaland reported its highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases today, with 90 new positive cases, taking the state tally to 1174, informed Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom via Twitter.
Meanwhile, Principal Director, H&FW, Dr Vizolie Z Suokhrie while updating on the break-up of the 90 new COVID-19 cases detected today informed that the 43 positive cases are among Armed forces, 42 cases within Quarantine centre, 4 traced contacts and 1 frontline worker.
Among the 1174 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases detected in Nagaland, 530 patients already recovered from COVID-19, the active case in the State now stands at 644. The state has not reported any fatalities due to COVID-19.
Kiphire district in Nagaland is the only COVID-19 free district with zero case till today.
