Kohima, May 30 (NE): Nagaland reported 11 new COVID-19 positive cases today, May 30, 2020 at 07:40 am, taking the total count in the state to 36.
Among the 11 new cases reported today, 8 are from Dimapur and 3 from Kohima. All new cases reported are from among the returnees from Chennai in a Shramik special train on May 22, 2020.
Taking to twitter, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said that 9 male and 2 female, all returnees from Chennai tested positive for COVID-19.

Among the overall 36 cases in the State, 22 cases tested positive for COVID-19 from Dimapur, 09 from Kohima and 05 from Tuensang.
All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state so far, are imported, from among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from Chennai on May 22, 2020.
