Naga Woman Commits Suicide at Jodhpur in Rajasthan

Kohima, May 23 (NEx): A 25 year old Naga woman committed suicide on Sunday morning, May 23rd, 2021 at Jodhpur in her rented room, informed the President, Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan.

The deceased, 25-year old women originally from Niuland under Dimapur district in Nagaland, was working at ‘Naveen Juice Restaurant’ in Jodhpur and was found hanging in her rented accommodation at Jodhpur, Rajasthan on Sunday, morning. The post-mortem report stated ‘natural suicide’ as the cause for the death.

The President, Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan Asimbe informed that the mortal remains was supposed to be buried tomorrow through the help of “Helping Hands Society”, Shri Robin Hibu IPS but Mr. Naveen, the owner of ‘Naveen Juice Restaurant’, where the deceased was employed, took all the expenses and made the arrangements for the burial today.

The deceased was laid to rest at New Christian cemetery in Jodhpur, on Sunday evening around 6:30 pm. The funeral ceremony was carried out by Pastor Steven Samson (from FFPI Jodhpur) at New Christian cemetery Jodhpur in the presence Dr Vesudo Swuro and Dr. Mughakato after necessary procedures from MDM- Mathudas Hospital Jodhpur, NSUR President informed.

Further, the Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan expressed deepest condolence to the departed soul and also extended heartfelt empathy to the bereaved family.
