India extends ban on international flights till February 28th, 2021

Kohima, January 28 (NEx): The Indian government has extended the ban of international commercial passenger flights till February 28, 2021, informed Director General of Civil Aviation on Thursday.

The Joint Director, in a circular, today stated that, ‘the restrictions on international commercial passenger services to/from India has been extended till 23:59 hrs IST of February 28, 2021.

However, the restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by the DGCA, it said.

Further, the circular informed that the international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on case to case basis.
