Kohima, November 05 (NEx): Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom on Thursday, launched ‘NSACS YOUTH APP’, at his office chamber. The mobile APP aims to create HIV awareness among the youths in the State.
Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said that ‘Knowledge is the most effective weapon against HIV.’ He also encouraged the youth in Nagaland to download the App and be informed, educated & practise safe behavior to help zero down new HIV infections in Nagaland state.
‘NSACS YOUTH APP’ will help connect the youth with any HIV related information and also to participate in HIV Prevention activities.

The App is developed by Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), which functions under the aegis of National AIDS Control Organisation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, with its objective to slow down the spread of HIV infections in the State, so as to reduce morbidity and impact of AIDS in Nagaland state.
