Government of Nagaland appeals on current outbreak of the Coronavirus from China

Dimapur, January 27 (NE): The Government of Nagaland through the Directorate of Family Welfare & Health, Kohima has written an appeal to Airport Authority of India, Government of India, Dimapur on January Twenty Seven regarding the current issue on outbreak of 2019 nCoV (Coronavirus) from China.

In a notification it said that, under the instructions from Government of India, for prevention of the disease, the Government in a cautionary note has advised the Airport Authority to be very vigilant so as to protect the citizens of Nagaland in occurrence of such unknown disease. It has also appealed the citizens of the state to take precautions so as to avoid getting infected with the unknown disease.

In this regard, another notification to the hospitals in the state by the Mission Director, NHM, had requested hospitals specially the NHAK and Dimapur District hospital to ensure adequate readiness for immediate detection, intervention and mitigation as and when the need arise.

As per the latest report coming in from various parts of India, two states in India has been observed to have cases of Coronavirus infection. The Government of China, in this regard has also dealt very strictly with it’s citizens to stop spreading any further.

The Government is also trying it’s best to come out with solutions relating to the source so that the right antidote can be produced pertaining to the said unknown disease occurring originally from China through consumption of a certain meat, as per a media report.
