Former Minister Shri. T. Tali Ao no more

Dimapur, February 12 (NE): Former Minister & Parliament Secretary, Shri. T. Tali Ao is no more today, February Twelve, 2020. He was Seventy Seven years old when he breathed his last this morning.

As per a notification, he was born on September 16, 1942 in Kangtsung village. Earlier, he did his schooling at village and Clark Memorial High school, Impur and graduated from Kohima Arts college. At first he contested in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly in 1977 from 21 Tuli A/C. He was elected as member of legislative assembly five times and served in various capacities as Chairman, Parliamentary Secretary and Miniser.

Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio expressed pain to learn about the demise of T. Tali former Minister of Nagaland. He was a former colleague & a personal friend. The people of Nagaland have lost a good and prominent leader who loved & served the public for many years with zeal & commitment. Condolences to the bereaved family, CM tweeted

Deputy CM Y Patton said that he is saddened to learn of the passing away of former minister Shri T. Tali. He will continue to be remembered for his foresight and commitment for the people, nevertheless, his demise leaves a void. I extend my condolences to the bereaved family and pray that his soul rests in peace.

NDPP President, Chingwang Konyak said, I am grieved to learn about the demise of my old political associate T. Talinungsang this morning. An affable and simple person, he was the epitome of simple living high standards and he had represented Tuli Assembly Constituency for so many decades.

Various Ministers and Legislators condole his untimely departure and said, “Today we lost our great leader. Our condolence to love ones. May his departed soul rest in Peace”.
