Flight services resume in Dimapur: 109 passengers arrived from Kolkata

Dimapur, June 01 (NE): After 69 days of nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic, domestic flight services resume in Dimapur Airport today. Two flights arrived in Dimapur Airport today.

According to Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India approved domestic flights lists, three flights were scheduled to operate from Dimapur Airport connecting Imphal, Guwahati and Kolkata on May 25, 2020. Later it was cancelled till Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Air India flight from Kolkata arrived Dimapur Airport with 109 passengers at around 03:30 pm today. The flight departed to Kolkata at 05:35 pm.

Also, Alliance Air flight to Guwahati departed with 17 passengers from Dimapur Airport, today.

Alliance Air flight from Dimapur to Imphal was cancelled as per officials from the airport.

Upon arrival at Dimapur Airport, passengers were taken to the medical screening and mandatory quarantine as per Standard Operating Protocol (SOP).

India resumed domestic civil aviation in a calibrated manner after two months break from May 25, 2020.
