Mokokchung, October 13 (NEx): Mokokchung district in Nagaland recorded the first COVID-19 death today. A total of 80 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the district till today.

Following the death of a COVID-19 positive patient, the emergency OPD services has been close down in Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung till further order. Contact tracing is being carried out by health officials.

Meanwhile, 19 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Mokokchung today, October 13, 2020, informed Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet.

Out of the total 80 cases reported in Mokokchung, 44 patients have recovered, active case in the district stands at 35 and one succumbed to COVID-19.

Nagaland COVID-19 tally stands at 7363 with 123 new positive cases today. Out of which 5770 patients recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the State is 1505, updated the COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland.
