The news taking rounds in social media reads as follows: ‘It is learnt that an Ao lady from Longjang village who returned from China have tested positive of COVID-19. She is being kept in isolation at Naga Hospital, Kohima’ – unquote.
A huge sigh of relief for Nagaland as the medical team confirmed that the news above is a rumour, and it will not be advisable for people to share such unauthentic news report which creates confusion and panic among the people. It is also good for the social media admin to take a note of this kind of false news while approving such posts.
The medical department is on high alert and vigil, taking various precautions for screening and necessary preparations are done for treatment here in the state if the need arises. In the midst of all these, a news was circulated in social media which is very discouraging for the whole department and the team as well, added a source.
