Earthquake of 3.5 magnitude hits Wokha in Nagaland

Kohima, March 16 (NEx): An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale occurred 14 km East of Wokha in Nagaland at 11:15 am on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, the National Centre for Seismology said in an official statement.

The depth of the quake was 18 km while the coordinates of the epicentre are 26.08 (latitude) and 94.40 (longitude), added the NCS report.

There is no report of any damage due to the quake at the time of filing this report. More details awaited.
