Nagaland govt cautions on reopening of schools in any manner will initiate severe disciplinary action against the violators

Kohima, May 10 (NE): The Government of Nagaland through a notification issued by the Directorate of School Education (DoSE) cautioned all concerned that reopening of schools in any manner will initiate severe disciplinary action against the violators.

A notification issued by Principal Director, DoSE, Shanavas C, IAS on May 10, 2020, said that there has been a report of few schools in the State who notified regarding resuming of classes in a phased manner which is in violation of the Lockdown Order issued by the Government of Nagaland on May 04, 2020.

‘All concerned, Government and Private Schools are cautioned by the School Education department that reopening of schools in any manner which is in violation of the Lockdown Order issued by the Government shall be prohibited and severe disciplinary action will be initiated against the violators as per appropriate provisions of law,’ stated the notification by Principal Director.

Further, the department directed all the parents and guardians not to send their children to schools until official orders for reopening of schools are issued by the competent authority, it added.
