Dimapur: Vehicular Movement Restrictions Between Patkai Bridge To Kukidolong Lifted

Dimapur, March 24 (NEx): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan IAS, today lifted the timing restrictions imposed on vehicular movement in the stretch between Chathe River Bridge (Patkai bridge) to Kukidolong with immediate effect.

The DC Dimapur in a circular stated that for the convenience of the general public and in suppression of the order dated March 5th 2021, it is hereby informed that timing restrictions imposed on vehicular movement in the stretch between Chathe River Bridge (Patkai bridge) to Kukidolong is lifted with immediate effect, till further orders.

Earlier, the vehicles were allowed to ply from 05:00 am to 05:00 pm daily in the stretch between Chathe River Bridge (Patkai bridge) to Kukidolong since March 5th, 2021.

‘However, restrictions maybe imposed as and when necessary if the need arises. All the commuters and plying vehicles shall strictly adhere to all the precautions and traffic regulations and maintain a distance of atleast 30 meters between vehicles in the said stretch,’ DC added.

The traffic personnel shall strictly monitor and facilitate the movement accordingly, the circular said.
