Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton tested negative for COVID-19, to undergo home quarantine, discharged from institutional quarantine in Dimapur

Dimapur, July 20 (NEx): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton tested negative for COVID-19 today. This is the third test result which turned negative for the Deputy CM. He will be discharged from institutional quarantine centre in Dimapur and undergo home quarantine, informed Deputy CM.

Deputy Chief Minister was undergoing institutional Quarantine in Dimapur since July 16, 2020 on his return from an official visit to Delhi along with other Ministers.

Taking to twitter, Patton said, the result of the third test I underwent today for COVID_19 has come back negative. However, I’ll remain under home quarantine adhering to the existing SOP. Also, I’ll continue to perform my duties.

Following the report of a driver and some staffs of Nagaland House Delhi testing positive for COVID-19, Nagaland Deputy CM Y Patton, along with other Legislators had undergone COVID-19 test at Delhi during their official visit. Test result in Delhi turned negative for the Deputy CM.

Meanwhile, the second COVID-19 test conducted on their arrival in Nagaland on July 16, 2020 also turned negative for Deputy Chief Minister.

Health Minister & PHED Minister tested negative for COVID-19;

Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom and PHED Minister, Jacob Zhimomi tested negative for COVID-19 in their third test. Earlier two tests conducted at Delhi and in Dimapur also turned negative for COVID-19.
