Covid-19 update: 2719 people quarantined in Nagaland; 13 tested negative

Kohima, March 27 (NE): Briefing on Covid19 status in Nagaland, the State Spokesperson and Minister Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue, Neiba Kronu at NSDMA State Level Control Room in Kohima, informed that as on 05:00 pm, March 27, 2020 there is no positive cases of Coronavirus detected in Nagaland.

A total of 17 suspected Covid-19 samples were sent for testing from Nagaland, in which 13 samples tested negative. Four results are awaited as on 05:00 pm today, informed the Minister.

A daily briefing on Covid-19 by Covid-19 Nagaland Spoke person and Minister for planning and Coordination, Shri Neiba Kronu informs, a total of 2719 people including students have self reported to the respective surveillance team of the District and are under home quarantine and four (4) are under facility quarantine, it added.

Efforts have also been made to expedite the delivery of the essential medical equipment and accessories including airlifting of consignments with the help of government of India.

Minister also informs the situation regarding the availability of the essential goods and commodities across the state continues to remain normal.

Minister, Neiba Kronu also conveyed a message to all the people that ‘If you love yourself and your family, Stay Home’.
