Kohima, June 19 (NE): Nagaland reported over 63% recovery rate from COVID-19 as sixteen (16) more patients tested negative for COVID-19, today, June 19, 2020. The total number of recovered cases in the State count to 125.

Among the 16 new COVID-19 recovery reported today, 9 patients were tested negative from Dimapur district COVID-19 hospital and 7 from Kohima, tweets Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.

Nagaland reported its first COVID-19 positive case on May 25, 2020. As on today, 198 cases are reported, all the positive cases in the state are imported, from among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.

As 125 patients recovered from COVID-19, the number of active cases in Nagaland stands at 73, with a recovery rate of 63%.

Among the total 125 recovery reported so far in the State, 94 patients have recovered in COVID-19 District Hospital Dimapur, 7 in AR Hospital Dimapur, 9 from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, 8 from Chedema COVID-19 Hospital, Kohima, 5 from COVID-19 District Hospital Tuensang and 2 from CHC Jalukie, Peren, stated Dr Ngangshimeren, Additional Director, H&FW, in the COVID-19 daily bulletin today.
