Kohima, June 14 (NE): For the first time since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Nagaland, the number of recovered cases exceeded the number of active cases on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
The State recorded 12 more patients testing negative for COVID-19, taking the total number of recovered cases to 88 at 03:00 pm today. They were undergoing treatment at COVID-19 District Hospital Dimapur, as per a tweet from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Total number of confirmed positive cases for COVID-19 in Nagaland stands at 168. With new 12 recovery cases from COVID-19, the number of active cases stands at 80 in Nagaland. Recovery rate in the state now over 52%.
An update from Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom via Twitter said, 12 more patients have tested negative of COVID-19 in their second test.
All patients are from Dimapur and shifted to COVID-19 care centre for further observation and monitoring – tweeted Pangnyu at 03:00 pm today.

Among the total 88 recovery reported so far in the State, 75 patients have recovered from COVID-19 District Hospital Dimapur, 2 from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, 6 from Chedema COVID-19 Hospital, Kohima and 5 from COVID-19 District Hospital Tuensang.
All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are imported, from among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
