Kohima, June 17 (NE): The confirmed number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland near 200 mark. State reported twelve (12) new COVID-19 positive cases this evening at 04:20 pm, June 17, 2020, taking the total count to 193.
Out of 238 samples tested for COVID-19, twelve (12) new positive cases confirmed, said an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 04:20pm today.
All 12 new cases are reported from Mon quarantine centre, tweeted Pangnyu.
With twelve new COVID-19 positive cases, total number of confirmed cases rises to 193 today. Among the confirmed cases, 103 patients have recovered from COVID-19 taking the active cases in the state to 90, updated Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom.
Another 12 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 238 samples tested. All cases are from Mon QC.

Among the 90 active cases in the state, 36 patients are at Dimapur district hospital, 3 at AR Hospital Dimapur, 18 at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, 13 at Chedema COVID-19 Hospital Kohima, 21 at Mon district hospital, 8 at CHC Jalukie, Peren and 1 at Tuensang district hospital.
All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
