COVID-19 positive cases cross 200-mark in Nagaland with 3 new cases today, total count rises to 201 - informs Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom on June 20, 2020

Kohima, June 20 (NE): Nagaland crossed 200 mark of positive COVID-19 cases on Saturday, June 20, 2020 as the state reported three (3) new cases and took the total number of positive cases to 201.

Nagaland reported its first COVID-19 positive case on May 25, 2020. Within 27 days the tally crossed 200 mark today. Meanwhile, the state has reported 62% recovery rate from Coronavirus.

Out of 275 samples tested, 3 new cases of COVID-19 positive have been reported, updates Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 10:00 am on June 20, 2020.

Among the three (3) new cases detected today, 2 patients are from Kohima quarantine centre and 1 from Dimapur quarantine centre, tweeted Pangnyu.

With three new COVID-19 positive cases, total number of confirmed cases rises to 201 today. Among the confirmed cases, 125 patients have recovered from COVID-19 taking the active cases in the state to 76, updated Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom.

Among the 76 active cases in the state, 28 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 18 at Kohima, 23 at Mon district hospital, 6 at CHC Jalukie, Peren and 1 at Tuensang district hospital.

All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
