Kohima, June 13 (NE): Nagaland reported highest single-day recovery from COVID-19 as twenty seven (27) patients tested negative for COVID-19, today, June 13, 2020 taking the total number of recovered numbers in the State to 76.
Total number of confirmed positive cases for COVID-19 stands at 163. With new 27 recovery from COVID-19, the number of active cases stands at 87 in Nagaland. Recovery rate in the state now stands at 46%.
An update from Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom via Twitter said, 27 more patients have tested negative for COVID-19 in their second test.
All patients are from Dimapur and shifted to COVID-19 care centre for further observation & monitoring – tweets Pangnyu at 04:31 pm, today.

Among the total 76 recovery reported so far in the State, 63 patients have recovered from COVID-19 District Hospital Dimapur, 2 from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, 6 from Chedema COVID-19 Hospital, Kohima and 5 from COVID-19 District Hospital Tuensang, stated Dr Ngangshimeren, Additional Director, H&FW, in the COVID-19 daily bulletin.
All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are imported, from among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
