Kohima, September 14 (NEx): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio called on Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today and sought support of the Defence Minister for Ciethu Airport Kohima and also discussed early completion of Bokajan-Botsa Road.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in a tweet said, ‘called on Minister of Defence Shri Rajnath Singh and sought support of Defence Minister of India for Ciethu Airport Kohima in view of its strategic importance.

Last week CM Rio after meeting with the Union minister for Civil Aviation and Housing & Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri at New Delhi, informed in a tweet that the Airport Authority of India agreed to prepare the Detailed Project Report of the Ciethu Airport at Kohima.
