Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio launched the Nagaland COVID Information App

Kohima, June 10 (NEx): The Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio launched the Nagaland COVID Information App today, June 10, 2021 at the State COVID-19 War Room, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima.

Taking to twitter, CM Rio said, ‘Launched Nagaland COVID Information App; developed by Department of Information Technology & Communication, GoN. I am sure easy access to info through this user-friendly app will greatly help the citizens of Nagaland’, CM Rio tweeted.

The objective of the App is to provide all COVID-19 information to the citizens through a single platform, including the contact information at all levels of management of COVID-19 in the State to assist the citizens to quickly get help during times of emergencies.

The Nagaland COVID information mobile app provides the details of the COVID-19 case status in the State, ICU bed availability, Oxygen availability, Ventilator availability, Guidelines and notifications issued by the Government, COVID-19 test site, COVID-19 vaccination site, Emergency contacts, Hospital help desk with options to call directly from the mobile app. Another highlight of this app is, it does not collect any user data.

The Nagaland COVID information mobile app is available for both Android and iPhone users to be downloaded from Google play Store and App Store for any information related to COVID-19 in the State of Nagaland.

Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom, Advisor IT, Science & Technology, NRE, GoN, Mmhonlumo Kikon, Chief Secretary, J Alam IAS, Principal Secretary to GoN, Amardeep S Bhatia, IAS along with other senior officials were present at the launching program of the mobile app.
