Kohima, March 18 (NE): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 through a press release said that it has decided to reschedule all the ongoing Board exams for class 10 and 12 students in India and abroad, as a precautionary measure and in compliance of the instructions received from the Secretary Department of Higher Education / School Education and Literacy, government of India.
Keeping in view the health concerns of students, Hon'ble HRD minister @DrRPNishank has directed CBSE and NIOS to postpone exams and evaluation till 31st March 2020.

All ongoing examinations of the board of classes 10 and 12, being held in examination centres in India and abroad, and scheduled between March 19, 2020 to March 31, 2020 (both dates inclusive), shall be rescheduled after March 31, 2020, it stated.
During the aforementioned period, re-examinations that were rescheduled to be held for North-East Delhi candidates will also be further rescheduled.
Rescheduled dates will be communicated by the board to all its stake holders by March 31, 2020, after re-assessment of the situation.
All the ongoing board exams related evaluation work in various evaluation centres in the country is also suspended upto March 31, 2020. All Centre Nodal Supervisors may ensure rescheduling of evaluation work from April 01, 2020, unless otherwise informed by the Board” said the press release issued by Secretary, Anurag Tripathi.
