Kohima, July 31 (NEx): Nagaland reported its biggest one-day spike of 126 COVID positive cases today, July 30, 2020, taking the State tally to 1692, updated by Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 01:49 pm.
Taking to twitter, Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 418 samples tested, 126 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed.
Among the new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases, 95 cases are in Dimapur and 31 in Kohima district. Contact tracing are fully activated for safety – updates the Health Minister, today.

With 126 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 1692 today. Among the confirmed cases, 625 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 1061. The state has reported the death of 4 COVID patients.
Among the 1061 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 530 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 347 at Kohima, 109 at Mon, 30 at Peren, 4 at Tuensang, 13 at Phek and 13 at Mokokchung, 8 at Zunheboto and 7 at Wokha district.
