Kohima, October 13 (NEx): All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) decided to halt the ongoing digital protest till tomorrow and resume on October 15, 2020. The Union began the ‘Indefinite Digital Protest’ against the State government from October 12, 2020, after the demand for setting up of an Enquiry Commission to probe the utilisation of funds at Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA), Zunheboto fell on deaf ears.
ANCSU in a press release today, informed that it has decided to halt the ongoing digital protest as a mark of respect to the Minister C.M. Chang who passed away on October 12, and also due to the declaration of state mourning by the state govt for the demise of the Minister.
The Union added that the digital protest will resume on October 15 , 2020 and will get intensified until the demand of the Union is fulfilled.
