Kohima, June 16 (NE): Nagaland reported over 57% recovery rate from COVID-19 as eleven (11) new patients tested negative for COVID-19, today, June 16, 2020. The total number of recovered cases in the State reached 103.
Among the 11 new COVID-19 recovery reported today, 4 patients are tested negative from AR Hospital Dimapur, 5 from Dimapur district COVID-19 hospital and 2 from Kohima, tweets Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
11 more patients have tested negative of COVID-19 in their second test. 5 from DH, Dimapur, 4 from AR Hospital, Dmp & 2 from Kohima. All patients are shifted to COVID-19 care centre for observation.

Nagaland reported its first Covid-19 positive case on May 25, 2020. Within 23 days, as on today, 179 cases are reported, all the positive cases in the state are imported, from among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
As 103 patients recovered from COVID-19, the number of active cases in Nagaland stands at 76, with a recovery rate of 57%.
Among the total 103 recovery reported so far in the State, 84 patients have recovered in COVID-19 District Hospital Dimapur, 4 in AR Hospital Dimapur, 2 from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, 8 from Chedema COVID-19 Hospital, Kohima and 5 from COVID-19 District Hospital Tuensang, stated Dr Ngangshimeren, Additional Director, H&FW, in the COVID-19 daily bulletin.
