Kohima, June 23 (NE): Nagaland reported its second highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases as fifty (50) new COVID-19 positive cases detected today, June 23, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 330.
Out of 312 samples tested for COVID-19, fifty (50) new positive cases confirmed, said an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 08:30 am today.
Out of the fifty positive cases for COVID-19, twenty four (24) cases are from Dimapur quarantine centre, fourteen (14) from Kohima quarantine centre, and twelve (12) from Peren, tweeted Pangnyu.
Out of 312 samples tested, 50 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported. 24 patients from Dimapur QC, 14 from Kohima QC & 12 from Peren QC.

With fifty (50) new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of confirmed cases rises to 330 today. Among the confirmed cases, 141 patients have recovered from COVID-19 taking the active cases in the state to 189, updated Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom.
Among the 189 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 43 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 35 at Kohima, 23 at Mon, 83 at Peren, 3 at Tuensang, 1 each at Zunheboto and Phek district.
All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
