Kohima, June 17 (NE): Nagaland reported five (5) new COVID-19 positive cases today, June 19, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 198.
Out of 320 samples tested for COVID-19, five (05) new positive cases confirmed, said an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at around 09:35 am today.
Out of the five positive cases for COVID-19, two cases each are from Mon and Kohima quarantine centre reported, and one from Dimapur quarantine centre, tweeted Pangnyu.
‘Out of 320 samples tested, 5 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported. 2 patients each from Mon QC & Kohima QC respectively & 1 from Dimapur QC’, Pangnyu tweeted.

With five new COVID-19 positive cases, total number of confirmed cases rises from 193 to 198 today. Among the confirmed cases, 109 patients have recovered from COVID-19 taking the active cases in the state to 89, updated Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom.
All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
