4 new COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland; total count rises to 375, informed Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom on June 27, 2020.

Kohima, June 27 (NE): Nagaland reported four (4) new COVID-19 positive cases today, June 27, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 375.

Out of 393 samples tested for COVID-19, four (4) new positive cases confirmed, said an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at around 09:30 am today.

All the four positive cases for COVID-19, are from Dimapur quarantine centre, tweeted Pangnyu.

With four (4) new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of confirmed cases rises from 371 to 375 today. Among the confirmed cases, 162 patients have recovered from COVID-19 taking the active cases in the state to 213, updated Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom.

In another instance, five Jawans in Mon district have been tested positive for COVID-19 at Mon district, through TrueNat machine and their samples have been sent to ICMR Dibrugarh for confirmation. Contact tracing is currently underway.
