Kohima, June 24 (NE): Nagaland reported seventeen (17) new COVID-19 positive cases detected today, June 24, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 347.
Out of 448 samples tested for COVID-19, seventeen (17) new positive cases confirmed, said an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at around 10:00 am today.
Out of the seventeen positive cases for COVID-19, fifteen (15) cases are from Kohima quarantine centre, and two (2) from Zunheboto quarantine centre, informed Health Minister at 10:00 AM, today, June 24, 2020.
With seventeen (17) new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of confirmed cases rises to 347 today. Among the confirmed cases, 141 patients have recovered from COVID-19 taking the active cases in the state to 206, Pangnyu Phom tweeted.
Out of 448 samples tested, 17 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported. 15 patients from Kohima QC & 2 from Zunheboto QC.

Among the 206 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 43 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 50 at Kohima, 23 at Mon, 83 at Peren, 3 at Tuensang, 3 at Zunheboto and 1 at Phek district.
All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
