Kohima, October 11 (NEx): Nagaland reported 70 new COVID-19 positive cases today, October 11, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 7019, updated Health Minister Pangnyu Phom. Among the new cases detected, 51 cases were detected in Dimapur, 13 in Kohima, 02 in Peren and 01 each in Tuensang, Mon, Longleng and Mokokchung, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1253.

Also, 49 patients have been recovered.

Also, the state reported 49 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 15 patients recovered from Kohima and 33 from Dimapur and 01 in Tuensang, updated the daily COVID bulletin by the department of Health and Family Welfare. Total recovery tally stands at 5684.
Out of the new positive cases reported in the State today, 40 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 01 returnees and 28 traced contacts and 01 frontline worker were tested positive for COVID-19, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3224 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 46% of the total tally, 1552 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 22%, 1876 are traced contacts which is 27% of total cases and 367 front line workers which sums at 05%. As per the severity of symptoms, 1193 active cases are asymptomatic, 45 active cases mild, 11 cases moderate, 03 patients are severe and 01 patient is critical in ICU on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported twelve (12) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Five (5) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not due to COVID-19 and six (6) death cases are under investigation while 59 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
