13 more patients recovered from COVID-19 in Nagaland; Active positive cases in Nagaland reduced to 63, said Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom

Kohima, June 20 (NE): Nagaland reported over 68% recovery rate from COVID-19 as thirteen (13) more patients tested negative for COVID-19, today, June 20, 2020. The total number of recovered cases in the State count to 138.

Among the 13 new COVID-19 recovery reported today, 11 patients were tested negative from Dimapur district COVID-19 hospital and 2 from Kohima, tweets Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.

Nagaland reported its first COVID-19 positive case on May 25, 2020. As on today, 201 confirmed cases are reported, all the positive cases in the state are imported, from among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.

As 138 patients recovered from COVID-19, the number of active cases in Nagaland stands at 63, with a recovery rate of 68%.

Among the total 138 recovery reported so far in the State, 105 patients have recovered in COVID-19 District Hospital Dimapur, 7 in AR Hospital Dimapur, 7 from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, 12 from Chedema COVID-19 Hospital, Kohima, 5 from COVID-19 District Hospital Tuensang and 2 from CHC Jalukie, Peren, stated Dr Ngangshimeren, Additional Director, H&FW, in the COVID-19 daily bulletin today.
