Kohima, November 20 (NEx): The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications to recruit 8500 apprentices in the country, out of which 35 seats of apprentices are available for the State of Nagaland. Application forms are available in the SBI website below, and interested candidates should apply on or before December 10, 2020.
An online examination for selection of apprentices is tentatively scheduled to be held in the month of January 2021, SBI notified.
The district wise break up of number of seats in Nagaland State, where training will be given are; Dimapur-3, Khiphire-3, Kohima-3, Longleng-1, Mokokchung-4, Mon-4, Peren-3, Phek-3, Tuensang-5, Wokha-3, Zunheboto-3, informed the notification.
‘Candidates will be given an option to choose any three preferred districts of the applied state at the time of registration. However, Bank reserves the right to allot training seat in any district of Selected State as per administrative requirement,’ it added.
Educational Qualification as on October 31, 2020;
Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 31.10.2020. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
According to SBI notification, candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Candidates can appear for the examination only once under this engagement project. Application can be submitted only through online. No other mode of applications will be accepted, SBI stated.
Duration of the training is Three years and the selected apprentices should be willing to qualify in the examinations of IIBF (JAIIB/CAIIB) during the 3 years apprenticeship engagement in the Bank, it stated.
The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month during 1st year, Rs.16500/- per month during 2nd year and Rs.19000/- per month during 3rd year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits, it stated.
